About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Team Lead to join our dynamic SaaS start-up, GoComet. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Mentor SDRs: You will lead, mentor, and coach a team of SDRs to meet and exceed their goals, including lead qualification, pipeline contribution, and response time targets. Provide ongoing training and enablement to equip SDRs with the tools, resources, and product knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Optimize Inbound Lead Handling Processes: Develop and implement effective lead handling workflows to improve response times and optimize lead-to-opportunity conversion rates. Use automation tools and CRM platforms to streamline processes and ensure scalability.
  • Monitor Team Performance Metrics: Track and analyze team performance using critical metrics such as lead response times, conversion rates across funnel stages, pipeline contribution, and quarterly/annual targets. Identify performance gaps and take corrective actions to drive results.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align on lead qualification criteria and messaging strategies. Provide regular feedback loops to improve content campaigns and enhance inbound lead quality. Work closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs of qualified leads and optimize the lead-to-closure process.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance trends and identify opportunities to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and conversion rates. Leverage data insights to refine workflows, lead nurturing strategies, and SDR playbooks.
