Senior Business Analyst Job

The role of a Senior Business Analyst in the e-commerce domain involves facilitating the successful delivery of consulting engagements. This entails close collaboration with client stakeholders, business users, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle to gather and document solution requirements.

This position demands strong analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and documenting cost-effective e-commerce system requirements and procedures that meet business objectives and user needs. It also involves providing consultation on Omni-channel-specific business topics, including product catalog modeling, inventory management, customer service, b2b customer management, b2b procurement, demand generation, promotion strategy, cross-channel commerce, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop requirement documentation through one-on-one or small group interview sessions to gather required use cases, functional requirements, and technical requirements.
  • Provide analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and documenting e-commerce system requirements and procedures that are cost effective and meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Consult with client stakeholders and business users on Omni-channel-specific business topics.
  • Develop user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, data models, and process flow diagrams to communicate engagement scope to client and delivery team members.
  • Maintain accountability for completing assigned work within specified timeframes and communicate status if task delivery dates are at risk.
  • Collaborate with other project delivery team members to resolve business or systems issues.
  • Understand e-commerce data structures, collect product catalogue data from client business users, manipulate data for import into e-commerce system, and identify data gaps.
  • Perform product data imports into e-commerce system, and provide system demonstrations and training to client business users.
  • Develop test plans, write manual/automated test scripts, and define acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality project deliverables.
