Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned consultant with expertise in optimizing sourcing processes worldwide. The ideal candidate will have experience in system and process consulting, as well as project management.

The role involves performing system and process consulting to ensure optimal mapping of all sourcing processes globally. This includes taking over partial project management of SAP-based processes worldwide, such as the implementation of the global sourcing platform (S/4 HANA & SAP Ariba).

The consultant will identify IT trends and innovations and drive digitization forward in the business unit. They will analyze business cases from an IT perspective and prepare project studies. Additionally, they will design and implement interfaces for the integration of applications into other processes.

The successful candidate will also support the creation and implementation of the global IT strategy. They will lead or support the adoption and rollout of SAP Ariba Guided Sourcing to streamline sourcing events and improve user experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good experience in Ariba
  • Knowledge in GTS
  • Experience in S/4 HANA
  • At least 2-3 Greenfield Implementation experience
  • Managing Senior stakeholders (Director level & above)
  • Professional experience in a comparable area of responsibility in an international industrial company
  • Successfully completed degree in (business) informatics or (business) engineering or comparable
  • Experience in project management and clear understanding of processes
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP MM and ideal knowledge of ABAP
  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills and act assertively and solution-oriented
  • Exposure to work with the global team
  • Good communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Guided Sourcing, including event creation, template customization, and supplier collaboration
