Purchase Manager

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager with a strong background in sourcing and procurement within the fitness and nutrition products industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop effective purchasing strategies for fitness and nutrition products and raw materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors and suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid production delays.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery timelines, and pricing.
• Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Cordinate with the Quality team to ensure all purchased materials meet company standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audit and review.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 48 years of experience in purchasing/procurement within the Fitness and Nutrition Products industry (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of suppliers and raw materials specific to nutrition products, supplements, and related packaging.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
