Purchasing Executive Job Overview

Our organization is seeking an accomplished Purchasing Executive to spearhead purchasing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchase orders, requisitions, and procurement processes.

This critical role involves negotiating with suppliers, maintaining accurate records of goods ordered and received, and ensuring smooth operations through effective liaison with internal teams.

  • Duties include overseeing purchase orders, managing procurement processes from start to finish, and developing strategies for efficient supply chain management.
  • The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proficiency in procurement techniques, and the ability to negotiate contracts with suppliers.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the civil engineering or construction industry is preferred.
  • Experience with Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and Purchase Management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Candidates must have a solid understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
