Job Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select suitable vendors for project-related materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards and company policies.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement, minimizing delays and optimizing budget allocation.
  • Maintain effective communication with project, design, and site teams to understand technical requirements and deliver high-quality materials on time.
  • Manage vendor database, evaluate supplier performance, and implement corrective actions to improve quality and reduce costs.
  • Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and maintain accurate documentation, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Support procurement planning, budgeting, and inventory control for ongoing and upcoming projects, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes in EPC/Projects/Water Industry.
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/materials, including vendor development and supplier relationship management.
  • Proficient negotiation and cost optimization skills, leveraging ERP/Procurement software knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills, with a focus on quality assurance and process improvement.
