Project Director Position

This is a critical role that involves overseeing multiple projects, working with dedicated teams to make a tangible impact in communities.

  • The successful candidate will implement and oversee diverse projects with specialized teams.
  • They will ensure the successful achievement of project targets through effective planning, coordination, and management.
  • A key responsibility will be preparing and submitting activity reports to stakeholders, highlighting project progress and outcomes.
  • In addition, they will establish and maintain partnerships for collaborative success, ensuring the continued growth and effectiveness of our projects.
  • As a representative of the organization, travel within and outside Mumbai may be required for project implementation and collaboration.
  • An essential aspect of this role is building a volunteer-mentor base and coordinating with volunteers involved in our projects.
  • The ideal candidate will possess resourcefulness in project design, implementation, and monitoring, as well as the ability to troubleshoot problems and identify creative solutions.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as business administration, public policy, or social work.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in non-profit program management, with a proven track record of successfully leading projects and teams.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and/or Marathi, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, community-focused mindset, with a passion for making a meaningful difference in people's lives.
  • Strong empathy and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders.
