Role Summary

As
Senior Director – Core Team
, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Impact Blueprint's footprint in political consulting and public affairs. You will be responsible not just for delivering high-impact client engagements, but also for
building and nurturing new client relationships
.

This role demands both strategic leadership and operational rigor — from identifying opportunities to executing engagements end-to-end with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Client Acquisition:
    Proactively identify, pursue, and close new opportunities across political parties, leaders, advocacy groups, and government institutions.
  • Engagement Ownership:
    Lead client engagements from scoping to delivery, ensuring strategic alignment, timely execution, and measurable impact.
  • Strategy & Execution:
    Design and lead political strategies, campaign rollouts, policy communication, and stakeholder engagement programs.
  • Leadership & Team Building:
    Mentor, lead, and scale high-performing teams across research, operations, field, and analytics.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Build trusted relationships with political leaders, advisors, media stakeholders, and policy influencers.
  • Thought Leadership:
    Contribute to the organization's positioning through strategic insights, publications, and speaking engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience, including 4–5 years in political consulting, public affairs, or governance advisory.
  • Demonstrated success in
    client development and relationship management
    , preferably in a political or government-facing context.
  • Experience leading
    end-to-end engagements
    with high complexity and visibility.
  • Strong understanding of electoral and governance ecosystems in India, especially in Karnataka/South India.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder negotiation skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead under pressure in politically sensitive environments.
