About the Role:

We are hiring a Director of Engineering with strong technical expertise and a product mindset to join the leading EV Infrastructure . This role will bridge business and technology, driving scalable solutions and enabling the nation's largest clean mobility network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, driving best practices and technical excellence.
  • Translate business needs into product and engineering strategies for seamless delivery.
  • Contribute to product strategy with a strong understanding of business goals and customer needs.
  • Architect, design, and scale core systems to handle business growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business functions to ensure technology enables business success.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in core engineering roles (software development, architecture, system design).
  • Proven track record in product-based companies (mobility, logistics, EV, automobile, or early startups preferred).
  • Strong technical expertise in scalable distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and core engineering practices.
  • Experience in building, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams.
  • Ability to partner with product leaders, engineering managers, and business stakeholders to drive alignment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to bridge business needs and technical execution.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in mobility, logistics, EV, or automobile sectors.
  • Exposure to fast-scaling environments (startup/scale-up experience).
  • Hands-on experience in modern tech stacks (Node.js, Java, Golang, cloud platforms).
