Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management group, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our business units.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of success in operations management, with experience leading teams and managing projects. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver services to the highest possible standard, addressing any risk issues to minimize operational losses
- Ensure that staff are appropriately trained, deployed, counseled, and motivated so that their individual and collective performance meets the current and future needs of the business
- Actively coach and develop all direct reports
- Monitor the team to ensure that all regulations, including security measures, are maintained
- Identify, review, and where appropriate implement improvements to processes in order to contribute to business efficiency goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Two or more years of proven success and experience in an operations management Team leaders role
- Objectively assess the performance of others in accordance with the process, assessing capabilities and potential
- Maintain consistency and fairness throughout the process
- Undertake and use management techniques to monitor financial resources for specific business unit projects
