Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy for undergraduate and postgraduate students. They will also guide postgraduate students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars. Additionally, they will develop innovative teaching methodologies, design and update the Anatomy curriculum, conduct and supervise original research projects, publish research papers, and collaborate with other departments on interdisciplinary research.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have an MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification, 8+ years of teaching experience in Anatomy, a strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals, and experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies. They will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, strong leadership and mentoring abilities, research aptitude, and a commitment to academic excellence, student development, and ethical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy for MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences students.
• Guide postgraduate students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars.
• Develop innovative teaching methodologies including digital anatomy, simulation-based training, and cadaveric dissection.
• Design and update the Anatomy curriculum as per NMC guidelines.
• Conduct and supervise original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
• Publish research papers in reputed peer-reviewed national and international journals.
• Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students in research methodology and publications.
• Collaborate with other departments and external institutions on interdisciplinary research.
• Serve as Head/Coordinator of the Department (if designated).
• Organize academic events such as CMEs, workshops, conferences, and webinars.
• Maintain departmental records, cadaver procurement, and laboratory resources.
• Ensure compliance with institutional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee Clinical Skills & Simulation Lab (if applicable).
• Integrate anatomical knowledge with clinical case discussions and surgical correlations.
• Promote cadaveric skill training for surgeons and postgraduate students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification.
• 8+ Years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC / MCI norms.
• Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
• Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies preferred.
