Senior Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-native data pipelines on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Ingestion and Processing: Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure data ingestion and processing frameworks using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics.
  • ETL/ELT Processes: Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data, implement Change Data Capture (CDC), streaming pipelines, and batch ingestion.
  • Data Governance and Security: Establish and maintain data quality frameworks, observability tools, and monitoring dashboards. Define and enforce data rules, validations, anomaly detection, and reconciliation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Cloud Platforms: Expertise in Microsoft Azure, familiarity with AWS and GCP.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, Python.
  • Data Orchestration Tools: Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Data Architecture Patterns: Strong understanding of data architecture patterns – Lakehouse, medallion, delta architecture.
