Database Engineer Role">

As a Database Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and developing cloud-based data architectures to meet the evolving needs of our flagship product.

This challenging position requires collaboration with technical experts, technology partners, and domain specialists worldwide. You will work closely with the product manager and engage with business development professionals, insights analysts, and consultants to drive innovation in data capabilities.

  • Design and implement suitable database schemas in our cloud-based architecture.
  • Create stored procedures for advanced analytics and database cleaning.
  • Develop automated data pipelines processing large volumes of data.

This varied role offers opportunities to develop and maintain SQL (and NoSQL) databases in Azure, including schema design, stored procedures, and data integrity. You will automate ETL processes with Azure tools, clean and test data in SQL databases, and prepare it for analysis in Azure Databricks and other software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining SQL (and NoSQL) databases in Azure, including schema design, stored procedures, and data integrity.
  • Automating ETL processes with Azure tools.
  • Data cleaning and testing in SQL databases and preparing data for analysis in Azure Databricks and other software products.
  • Working with internal and external data providers to build rich data sources.
  • Scripting programming code for live software products, both functionally and descriptively.
  • Designing fit-for-purpose data architectures for efficient data processing and seamless analysis.
  • Collaborating with the data science team to develop advanced analytical algorithms.
  • Supporting the Kline PRO product owner in facilitating client queries and data requests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in developing and supporting Stored Procedures.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Azure SQL Databases.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in scripting functional or procedural programming.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Azure or similar full-stack technologies.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using data science coding languages, such as Python or R.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
