About the Role

As an Electrical Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and delivering essential electrical items to our solar projects. This involves coordinating with project managers and site teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical consumables and balance of system items used in solar projects. They will also be familiar with local procurement practices and vendor management.

  • Familiarity with electrical specifications and quality standards
  • Strong coordination, negotiation, and documentation skills
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities at site
Key Responsibilities
  1. Procure site requirements, electrical items, and consumables locally as per project needs
  2. Coordinate with the Project Manager and site electrical team to align material procurement with the execution plan
  3. Work closely with the HO SCM team for major electrical material procurement (cables, transformers, switchgear, etc.) and ensure delivery at the site
  4. Develop and maintain a local vendor database for electrical materials and consumables
  5. Ensure procurement compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements
