Senior Liability Underwriter Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Liability Underwriter to play a vital role in our global reinsurance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex portfolios and developing strategies for sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in Liability/Financial Lines underwriting, with a strong knowledge of the Indian market and regional/global exposure preferred.

  • Evaluating and analyzing Financial Lines business, including D&O, EPLI, Cyber, PI, Crime, Transaction Liability, and other specialty liability products
  • Structuring, pricing, and negotiating treaty and facultative reinsurance arrangements
  • Reviewing submissions, assessing risk exposure, and providing tailored solutions

The role also involves managing and growing a book of business while maintaining profitability, monitoring market trends, claims experience, and emerging risks impacting liability lines, as well as contributing to product development and portfolio diversification initiatives.

To succeed in this position, you will need excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking ability.

Required qualifications include:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree, preferably with professional qualifications
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
