Business Intelligence Data Analyst

The Reference Data Analyst plays a crucial role in data quality within our organization. As part of the Data Quality Operations team, this position is responsible for exception management, query resolution, and daily metrics compilation.
This role requires strong communication, time management, workload prioritization, and risk awareness skills to collaborate with stakeholders across teams. The analyst will work closely with external vendors to ensure data quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage exception functions across data quality for all asset classes and regions
- Respond to consumer queries by analyzing issues and recommending remediation
- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete reporting
- Perform root cause analysis of exceptions and escalate significant issues to senior management
- Educate others on operational risks and issues
Requirements:
- Instrument Reference Data experience preferred
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues
- Cross-asset knowledge and ability to learn business areas
- Teamwork and high-pressure work environment
- Clear communication and escalation of high-risk situations
- Proactive and self-driven to drive continuous improvement
- Detail oriented and control focused
- Prior Financial Services experience preferred
