Procurement Specialist for Citizen Services Advisory

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and assist state agencies in procurement of goods, works, and services according to approved plans following World Bank Procurement Regulations.
  • Provide operational advice to the state on concepts, policies, and procedures for international and local procurement as per World Bank's guidelines.
  • Gather client needs and liaise with domain experts for bid document preparation including EOI, RFPs, etc.
  • Maintain procurement records and documentation for audit or review by the World Bank.
  • Handle procurement complaints received according to agreed procedure for the Programme.
  • Ensure disclosure requirements related to procurement are uploaded on the Programme website in a timely manner including publication of contract award notices.
  • Extend support on all procurement activities under the Programme.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in public procurement with State or Central government or with State/Central Public Sector Undertaking.
  • Experience in procurement methods of World Bank/Asian Development Bank/Multi-lateral funded projects is desirable.
  • Competent in use of computer Applications.

Preferred Requirements

  • Preference will be given to candidates having experience in MSME consulting domain.
