Job Title: Risk Management Analyst

Job Description:
  • Support the day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with enterprise policies and programs related to specific risk types.
  • Assist in the integration of decentralized risk types into broader Operational Risk Management (ORM) policies and programs.
  • Compile topical risk information, including emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory updates relevant to each area of expertise.
  • Disseminate targeted training and awareness programs to increase understanding and management of specific risk topics within the organization.
  • Support senior team members in consultation on the design and implementation of controls tailored to specialized risk areas.
  • Research and gather topical risk knowledge to share with process owners to enable them to strengthen and embed relevant ORM considerations into processes.
  • Gather topical risk strategies and procedures to align with changes in the business environment and regulatory landscape.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in operational risk management, including understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activities.
  • Project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in process governance, establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
  • IAPP Certification or other Privacy Certification would be preferred.

Experience in at least one of the following:

  • Supporting day-to-day activities to ensure compliance with enterprise policies and programs related to specific risk types and providing topic-specific insight for procedure/standard design/enhancement.
