Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and work on process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform transactional activities of operational procurement, including spot buying, purchase orders, and vendor management.
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the global function, ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests from initiation through order fulfillment.
  • Develop reporting expertise to extract reports from SAP as per requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to PO's created.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Identify potential issues and escalate them appropriately.
  • Maintain operational compliance with regulatory, internal, and external guidelines and support audit activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience with strong negotiation skills.
  • SAP module knowledge and experience.
  • Desirable working experience in a Shared Services Center procurement procedures.
