Chief Data Analyst: Omics Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled computational biologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Omics (NGS) analysis and strong experience in scRNA-Seq data interpretation.
Main Responsibilities- Develop novel pipelines for genomics data analysis, drug repurposing, biomarker identification, patient stratification, disease modeling, and data integration.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of scRNA-Seq and other Omics (NGS) data.
- Masters degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computational Biology or related field with 2-3 years of industrial experience.
- Strong track record of scRNA-Seq and other Omics (NGS) data analysis and downstream systemic interpretation.
- Expertise in R, Python, shell-script for complex data analysis.
- Experience with Docker and Nextflow.
- Strong background in population genomics, GWAS, eQTL/pQTL analyses WES/WGS sequencing data analyses and statistical analyses of rare and common variants.
- Familiarity with machine learning is an added advantage.
- Experience with Linux environment or cloud computing (AWS/GCP).
- Experience with Relational database such as Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
