Omic Data Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining advanced bioinformatics pipelines for proteomics, single-cell transcriptomics, and other omics data types. You will work with large datasets, develop automation tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all services are reliable, maintainable, and well-integrated into existing platforms.
">- Responsibilities:
- Develop scripts to query and manipulate omics data using programming languages such as Python, Java, and R.
- Develop bioinformatics applications, including R Shiny, Plotly Dash, and relevant usage analytics.
- Develop data processing pipelines for large datasets in the cloud, integrating with other data sources where applicable.
- Collaborate with engineering team members to ensure all services are reliable, maintainable, and well-integrated into existing platforms.
Requirements:
">- Education:
- A doctorate degree or a master's degree with 4-6 years of experience in computer science, IT, or a related field, or a bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of experience in computer science, IT, or a related field, or a diploma with 10-12 years of experience in computer science, IT, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Experience in the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: R, Python, Java.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and infrastructure.
