Job Title: Design Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to oversee the design and development of solar power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and execute engineering activities for civil and structural engineering of solar PV power plants, ensuring seamless project delivery within budget and timeline.
  • Facilitate the development of BIM 3D models for PV solar power plants, incorporating cutting-edge technologies for enhanced efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments, including inter-departmental checks covering electrical, instrumentation, MEP, and others, promoting collaboration and streamlining project workflows.
  • Provide expert support for engineering activities, spanning the full cycle of works from pre-bid engineering to commissioning and operation and maintenance (O&M).
  • Lead a team of design engineers and draughts persons to manage engineering activities effectively, delivering high-quality results while maintaining cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering.
  • 8-20 years of experience in design aspects of solar PV power plants or power distribution projects, with a strong focus on innovation and technical expertise.
  • Technical proficiency in engineering activities for civil and structural, including control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, inverter rooms, grading, roads, and drainage, outdoor steel structures, and miscellaneous works related to solar power plants.
  • Ability to review vendor engineering documents with respect to civil and structural design, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
