Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Head to lead our Plant Engineering Business Unit.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project management, operations delivery, and plant engineering processes.

This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • The successful candidate will have in-depth hands-on experience in handling multidiscipline large engineering projects in oil and gas, power plants, petrochemicals, refineries, and water treatment plants.

The key responsibilities of the position include:

  • Leading and managing the delivery of plant engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of engineers to ensure effective resource allocation, task management, and career development.
  • Acting as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Identifying and managing project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensuring all engineering processes and deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
  • Monitoring and controlling project budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving engineering processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Appraising and grooming team members to improve their performance and develop their competencies.
  • Embracing and promoting total commitment to quality, assuming complete responsibility for quality process compliance for all projects and maintaining process compliance index >95% for the business unit.
