Renewable Energy Project Director

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Renewable Energy Projects with extensive experience in managing and delivering MW-scale solar power projects from initiation to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of solar projects, ensuring strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.
  • Monitor daily site progress, coordinate with site engineers and contractors, and implement corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.

Project Leadership and Management

  • Lead cross-functional teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, government bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
  • Manage vendors and contractors to achieve project objectives.

Engineering and Technical Oversight

  • Review and validate engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.
  • Provide technical guidance to engineering and site teams.

Quality, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and EHS standards at site.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections at various stages of the project.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Engineering or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale solar EPC/C&I projects.
  • Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
