Cloud Storage Test Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer Test Lead to join our engineering team. As a key member, you will design and develop comprehensive tests that uncover storage system vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative test methodologies to expose weaknesses in cloud storage systems.
  • Utilize fault injection, fuzzing, and adversarial approaches to identify and fix issues early on.
  • Design and implement automated test frameworks to simulate real-world scenarios.
  • Collaborate with engineers to establish quality culture through defensive thinking and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in testing cloud storage systems, filesystems, or infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows storage stacks, benchmarking tools (fio, vdbench), and kernel debugging (strace, eBPF).
  • Strong scripting skills (Java/Python/Bash/Go) and test automation expertise.
  • Knowledge of cloud storage platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
