Job Description:

  • Provide administration for entire OCI environment, focusing on Tenancy, VCNs, compartments, network layers, firewalls, subnets, and storage options.
  • Manage OCI infrastructure administration tasks, including installation, configuration, migrations, tuning, patching, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Develop and modify Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and to manage OCI Infrastructure.
  • Optimize performance by upgrading hardware, allocating resources efficiently, configuring CPU, memory, and disk partitions as necessary, and ensuring high availability of infrastructure.
  • Implement regular OS patches and upgrades, upgrade administrative tools and utilities, and add new services as needed.
  • Configure and provision Network Security Groups, Bastion Hosts, Public Load Balancers, and other related components.
  • Provision compute nodes, networks, and storage, understanding the requirements for each component.
  • Work with IaaS solutions, virtual machines/networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, logging, and local/cloud storage.
  • Handle Certificate renewals, High Availability architecture in an OCI environment, and Disaster Recovery Site setup.
  • Have experience with migration and should have used migration tools.
  • Contribute to performance management and cost optimization efforts.
  • Participate in solution design that accompany business requirements for technical delivery.
  • Assist in design decisions, develop, and implement cloud solutions.
  • Experience using code repositories like GIT.
  • Multicloud exposure is advantageous but not essential.
