Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying key risks in our operational and financial environment and developing an understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy to provide analysis and interpretation to management.

As a Senior Associate, you will design and implement comprehensive audits to address the identified risks. You will also enhance and challenge existing audit techniques, develop and promote digital use cases that increase coverage and overall assurance in cooperation with our data analytics team, and independently drive assurance objectives during fieldwork.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify key risks in our operational and financial environment and develop an understanding of business processes, goals, and strategy to provide analysis and interpretation to management.
  • Design and implement comprehensive audits to address the identified risks.
  • Enhance and challenge existing audit techniques.
  • Develop and promote digital use cases that increase coverage and overall assurance in cooperation with our data analytics team.
  • Independently drive assurance objectives during fieldwork.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong academic background including an Accountancy degree (Chartered Accountants preferred), master's degree in Finance and/or Business.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in industries similar to Siemens or comparable experience within Siemens, or a Big 4 accounting or consulting firm - Statutory Audit or Financial due diligence preferred.
  • Necessary skills, experience, and motivation to develop out of Controlling and Finance Assurance department within 5-8 years and move into a business role.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and education.
  • Demonstrated history of career advancement.
  • Ability to continue an accelerated career track.
  • Fluency in English along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50% (including internationally) as well as to live/embrace our remote-working culture.
