Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and scalability of accounting and finance platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering, with a strong focus on financial or mission-critical applications. Experience with monitoring/observability tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code tools is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining high levels of system uptime and performance through proactive issue prevention and resolution.
  • Designing and implementing automated deployment, scaling, and self-healing processes to minimize manual intervention and operational risk.
  • Establishing comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for accounting applications and data pipelines.
  • Leading on-call rotations, conducting root cause analysis, and driving improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
  • Developing and enforcing best practices for capacity planning, performance optimization, disaster recovery, and compliance controls in financial systems.
  • Collaborating with software engineers, data engineers, and Finance/Accounting teams to ensure operational needs are met from development through production.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering, preferably supporting financial or mission-critical applications.
  • Strong experience with monitoring/observability tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code tools.
  • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, scripting/programming experience for automation and tooling.
