Primary Skills
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based services
  • Expertise in assessing complex cloud solutions, including redundancy, load balancing, and fault tolerance
  • Experience with load testing and chaos engineering tools and processes
Responsibilities
  • Identify and eliminate single points of failure to enhance system reliability
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential failure modes and their impacts
  • Develop strategies to improve system resilience
  • Assess and maintain fault-tolerant architectures using redundancy, load balancing, and automated failover
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams
  • Provide guidance on best practices for system resiliency and reliability
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, focusing on system reliability and chaos engineering
  • Experience in designing and maintaining fault-tolerant systems
  • Understanding of observability and tracing tools
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and incident management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
