Finance Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance Operations Specialist. This role will combine finance responsibilities with inventory management, ensuring seamless operations across stock handling, financial transactions, and record-keeping.

Main Responsibilities:

Finance Duties:
Record daily sales and expenses accurately in our accounting system.
Maintain ledgers and prepare financial reports such as monthly profit and loss statements.
Coordinate with external accountants for tax payments and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Manage petty cash and prepare daily cash reports to track financial performance.
Analyze food cost, beverage cost, and wastage — ensure costs remain within benchmarks.
Track payroll and staffing costs, and optimize scheduling vs. sales.
Monitor receivables from catering clients, event bookings, and online aggregators like Zomato/Swiggy.

Inventory Management:
Manage stock inventory and ensure items are in good condition. Update inventory in our inventory management system.
Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
Perform regular stock counts and audits for each location to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
Label and store ingredients and supplies properly to maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas.

Key Requirements:
Experience in inventory management, accounting, or financial operations is essential for this role.
Knowledge of stock control practices and basic accounting skills are necessary to succeed in this position.
A strong attention to detail and accuracy is required to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure is crucial to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in the food and beverage industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is beneficial for data analysis and reporting.
