Accounts Receivable Specialist

The primary function of the Accounts Receivable Specialist is to ensure timely and accurate receipt of payments from customers, managing invoicing, reconciliations, and credit control processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Management: Generate and process invoices accurately, ensuring timely delivery to clients.
  • Payment Tracking: Monitor and track payments from clients, identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients to follow up on outstanding payments and address billing inquiries.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and discrepancies addressed.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on accounts receivable status and aging to inform management about outstanding balances.
  • Collections: Initiate collections efforts, sending reminders and statements, and escalating as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Experience: Years of experience in Accounts Receivable with proficiency in SAP.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Behavioral Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and collaborate with colleagues.
