We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive financial analyst to join our team at Peergrowth India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, reconciling reports, and ensuring efficient operations for our hedge fund portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for hedge fund portfolios.
  • P&L Reconciliation: Perform P&L reconciliation between fund administrator reports, internal records, and prime broker statements.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Carry out cash reconciliation across custodians, banks, and internal systems.
  • Discrepancy Investigation: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in positions, pricing, fees, and expenses.
  • Reporting Support: Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Performance Reporting: Assist in performance reporting and investor statements.
  • Trade Settlement: Coordinate with fund administrators, prime brokers, and custodians to ensure accurate trade settlement and reporting.
  • Portfolio Validation: Collaborate with portfolio managers and risk teams to validate portfolio data and performance metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's or professional certification like CFA/CPA is a plus).
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting or hedge fund operations, preferably with exposure to financial analysis and reconciliation processes.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, derivatives, fixed income, FX, etc.).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of fund accounting software (e.g., Advent Geneva, Investran, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
