Senior Associate Job Opportunity

Job Overview:

As a Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing the portfolio details of various private equity funds. Your responsibilities will include preparing pre-defined investor-specific quarterly reporting templates, analyzing PE fund performance, and calculating fund valuation data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and manage portfolio details of various private equity funds.
  • Prepare pre-defined investor-specific quarterly bespoke reporting templates.
  • Analyze PE fund performance by reviewing fund cash flows and quarterly/financial reports.
  • Calculate fund valuation data, including investment cost, realized/unrealized value, gross/net multiple, and gross/net IRR, as well as financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt, and valuation/leverage multiples.
  • Track operational KPIs and provide quarterly updates.
  • Create and update fund track records and reconcile data using cash flow notices.
  • Calculate fund multiples and IRRs using cash flows and perform attribution and value creation analysis.
  • Reconcile portfolio-level operational data, including geographical presence, headquarters, and portfolio leverage.
  • Coordinate with teams to obtain timely information and communicate client status on tasks.

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate degree or equivalent (CFA, CA, MBA, CCRA, CIIA, CAIA).
  • 1-10 years of experience in relevant financial services, including management reporting or operational finance, preferably with research experience.
  • Experience with E-front, Power BI, and Microsoft Access is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work products.
  • Ability to work independently, identify process improvements, and take on responsibilities as a contributing team member.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
