Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to onboard and monitor investment portfolios, reviewing and interpreting legal agreements and servicer or trustees' reporting.
  • Support clients in risk and exposure monitoring of transactions, calculating and monitoring covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, concentration tests and Borrowing Base calculations.
  • Lead daily operations of workstreams, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables, and liaise with the Business Analyst and Implementation team to ensure data and logic on proprietary platforms are accurate.
  • Mentor and guide freshers to improve the overall learning curve, providing enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios and sharing critical aspects concerning overall performance proactively.
  • Assist in standardising and streamlining processes to increase efficiencies and setting up SOPS and processes around deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Structured Finance products, corporate credit landscape, ABL, CLO, Middle Market Portfolio Financing, and core financial and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel and knowledge of various financial databases, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva.
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal - with ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict and aggressive deadlines, with a desired candidate having graduated with an MBA or advanced degree in finance like CFA, CAIA, and FRM.
  • Prior experience of at least 3-5 years with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm, preferably.
