Job Title:
Purchase Director

The Purchasing Manager will lead the procurement process, securing goods and services while meeting quality standards and budget constraints.

Responsibilities include:

1. Sourcing and Procurement Strategy: Develop comprehensive sourcing plans to ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with business objectives.

2. Negotiation and Contract Administration: Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with domestic and international suppliers.

3. Supplier Evaluation: Assess supplier performance based on quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness.

4. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with purchasing policies and procedures, as well as quality standards for purchased goods or services.

5. Inventory and Stock Management: Collaborate with warehouse teams to manage stock levels and avoid over/understocking.

6. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain purchasing records, including invoices and delivery receipts. Generate reports on purchasing activities.

7. Cost Control and Budgeting: Prepare budgets for procurement activities. Work closely with finance for budget tracking and variance analysis.

Qualifications: Relevant educational background in procurement or a related field. Essential skills include negotiation, communication, and data analysis skills. Proficiency in procurement software is also necessary.

In this role, you will drive strategic sourcing and negotiate contracts with vendors. You will assess vendor performance and manage inventory levels to meet business needs.
