We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing and Operations Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-driven professional with expertise in process optimization, supplier negotiations, and lean manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with suppliers to optimize material costs and maintain strong, mutually beneficial vendor relationships.
  • Set up manufacturing and quality control processes at the contract manufacturer's location.
  • Procure raw materials and semi-finished goods for lifestyle products.
  • Oversee the implementation of ERP (Odoo) and project management (Jira) systems to elevate visibility and streamline workflows.
  • Manage business operations, including certifications, pricing, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Execute rapid R&D prototyping to reduce lead times for new component designs, improving agility and speed to market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Able to independently navigate challenges using industry knowledge.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup.
