Deal Analyst Position

This is a secure, full-time remote role that offers the opportunity to take extreme pride in accuracy, logic, and constant improvement.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing residential and commercial property deals to identify potential investment opportunities.
  • Reviewing floor plans, EPCs, comparables, agent documents, and other key materials to ensure thorough analysis.
  • Calculating key figures such as ROI, yield, refurbishment costs, profit, and GDV to inform investment decisions.
  • Using and maintaining deal analysis spreadsheet tools to streamline the analysis process.
  • Producing written summaries of deals with go/no-go recommendations to support investment decisions.
  • Triple-checking every detail before submitting work to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Taking ownership of analysis and understanding the impact of their work on real-money decisions.
  • Continuously improving analysis skills through feedback and experience.
  • Updating deal information in CRM/deal tracker systems accurately and efficiently.

Candidates will be responsible for reviewing deals, calculating returns, checking refurbishment estimates, and deciding whether deals stack, which directly impacts real-money decisions.

Requirements:

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • A passion for working with numbers, logic, and structured thinking.
  • Experience in property, finance, or detailed analysis work.
  • Understanding of terms like yield, refurb budget, ROCE, GDV, LTV, etc.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, checking work multiple times.
  • Ability to handle important decisions under pressure.
  • Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Strong integrity, ensuring accurate numbers matter.
