Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Professional

Job Description:

The key objective of this role is to serve as a vital resource for mechanical design and development. As a Senior Mechanical Design Professional, you will be responsible for automating, designing mechanical engineering components, and developing SPM.

You will work collaboratively in a team environment, understanding customer requirements, proposing feasible solutions while focusing on functionality and optimization. Responsibilities include cross-functional interaction to qualify new designs, meeting customer specifications, and providing technical support.

As a Senior Mechanical Design Professional, you will work on multiple phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity with results impacting project completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in automation, electromechanical/mechatronics, and related concepts.
  • Understanding customer requirements, proposing feasible ideas, and concepts.
  • Knowledge of creation, reading, and interpretation of engineering drawings and standards particularly precision components, fabricated structures.
  • Wide knowledge of automation products.
  • Validation of engineering components and concepts through engineering calculations.
  • Selection of commercial items like bearings, motors, gearboxes, servomotors, sensors, conveyors, etc.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Station DRI-Full machine conceptual design, manufacturing design, DFM, SOP, RF design.
  • 3D part modeling, 3D finishing, and assembly details, COTS items spec freeze, and localization.
  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 4-10 years of relevant experience.
