Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' data and systems. You will be responsible for administering and supporting cloud security solutions to designated client environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud security technologies, zero-trust cybersecurity principles, and experience in managing cloud-based security platforms in enterprise settings. Key responsibilities include policy administration, system monitoring, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure secure and compliant connectivity.

  • Maintain and update security policies, access controls, and authentication settings (e.g., SAML/SSO) ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Continuously monitor security dashboards for alerts, anomalies, and performance metrics providing regular reports on threat activity, usage trends, and compliance status to clients.
  • Provide user support for security-related issues collaborating with IT teams to resolve connectivity, access, and policy-related problems and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including configuration records, troubleshooting guides, network diagrams, and change logs ensuring all updates follow change management protocols.
  • Participate in client meetings, status calls, and planning sessions communicating technical updates, policy changes, and recommendations clearly and professionally and liaise with client IT teams, cybersecurity personnel, and vendors to ensure smooth operation and integration of security solutions.
  • Support client compliance initiatives by ensuring security configurations align with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR) assist with audit preparation and evidence collection.
  • Stay informed about security product updates and coordinate implementation of new features or integrations recommending improvements based on evolving security needs and operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or any related field.
  • Minimum 4 years in IT security administration.
  • Hands-on experience managing cloud security platforms is essential preferably in a client-facing or MSSP environment.
  • Familiarity with ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX configuration and management.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, SSL/TLS, CA).
  • Knowledge of identity provisioning and work experience in the same (e.g., Azure AD, SAML/SSO, MFA).
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Sentinel) and endpoint protection platforms (e.g., Sophos).
  • Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) or equivalent security credentials preferred.
  • Strong client communication skills are essential ability to work in US time zone and adapt to client needs.
