Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

This is a high-level administrator role for cloud infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tenancy and Network Administration
  1. Manage tenancies, virtual networks, compartments, and network layers to ensure secure and efficient data processing.
  2. Configure firewalls, subnets, and storage options to optimize system performance.
Infrastructure Administration
  1. Install, configure, migrate, tune, patch, and monitor cloud infrastructure resources.
Cloud Provisioning and Deployment
  1. Write and modify Terraform scripts for application deployments on cloud platforms.
  2. Provision and manage cloud infrastructure resources, including compute nodes, storage, and networks to meet business requirements.
Performance Management and Optimization
  1. Perform performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization to improve system efficiency.
Security and Compliance
  1. Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly to ensure data security and integrity.
  2. Upgrade administrative tools and utilities to enhance productivity.
Network Security and Configuration
  1. Configure and manage network security groups, bastion hosts, and public load balancers to safeguard against cyber threats.
Migration and Disaster Recovery
  1. Migrate applications and data between environments to minimize downtime.
  2. Design and implement high-availability architectures for disaster recovery sites to ensure business continuity.
Cost Optimization and Performance Analysis
  1. Optimize costs by right-sizing resources and managing usage to achieve cost savings.
  2. Analyze solution designs to ensure technical delivery meets business requirements.

Credentials: Certified Cloud Architect Associate/Professional, Certified Cloud Migration and Integration Specialist, Certified Cloud Security Associate/Professional, Certified Cloud Operations Associate.
Work Experience: 4-10 years
