Job Title: Project Director - Chemical Projects

The role of the project director involves overseeing the execution of chemical projects. This position is responsible for ensuring end-to-end project delivery within defined parameters.

  • Lead overall project lifecycle from concept to completion.
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and quality requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects across disciplines.

About the Role:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Conduct regular project review meetings and progress tracking.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary teams. Foster a high-performance culture with focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Commercial & Contract Management: Participate in contract negotiations and vendor management. Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (PMP certification preferred).
  • 12-20 years of chemical project experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in delivering medium to large-scale chemical projects.
