Job Title: Project Director

A Commercial Project Director is responsible for leading commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This involves managing all project phases, ensuring compliance with contract scope, safety standards, and quality requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project work plans, schedules, and milestones; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors to monitor on-site progress and address any field issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software.
  • Handle project administration tasks including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for ICI projects.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Track subcontractor invoices and prepare project billing and progress claims.
  • Ensure strict budget control and identify cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a part-time position that requires a hybrid work model – a combination of remote work and in-person site visits or office meetings as required.
