A Technical Expert in Bioproduction

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a technical expert in bioproduction. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies within the region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with FAS & TSS teams in SA to develop and manage account growth strategies within the region.
  • Be the technical interface for our Bioproduction products & technologies to potential and existing clients.
  • Liaison with the sales team for technical discussion with customers & senior executives and influence them for orders.
  • Coordinating with the Regional Market Development Global Business Units/Divisions, to implement training activities and workshops on the application and capabilities of our products.
  • Partner with commercial teams for customer surveys, inquiries, and product briefs.
  • Identify beta test sites in coordination with product management and SA TSS/FAS.
  • Lead a team of technical specialists.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in the biologics industry, with an M.S. or Ph.D. in life sciences, biology, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pharmaceutical /Bio Pharmaceutical workflows that contribute to growth drivers in the sector.
  • Technical expertise in R&D or process development; prior commercial experience is a plus.
  • Strong people leadership skills and the ability to manage within a matrixed environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting goals.
  • Business-level proficiency in English (verbal/written) and proficiency in Excel and presentation skills.
