Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation and excellent hands-on skills, enabling them to effectively collaborate with the broader engineering team and implement industry best practices.

  • Key responsibilities include architecting, designing, developing, and testing a ground-up SaaS product in Industry Solutions focused on Manufacturing and Retail industries.
  • The incumbent will lead a team of 60+ global associates across US and India, promoting leadership qualities to mentor junior and mid-level software associates.
Technical Environment

Core Skills: Python, Numpy, Design Patterns, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth

Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event-driven, Rest API, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture, Solver

Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)

Frameworks/Others: SnowFlake, MS SQL, Gradle GIT, Jenkins

What You'll Do

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Help the team improve technically by mentoring junior associates and maintaining customer success focus.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop simpler, more robust, and efficient designs.
  • Identify root causes of issues and resolve them rather than their symptoms.
  • Share knowledge in your field of expertise through open-source contributions, training sessions, or conference presentations.
  • Empower and grow less experienced team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.
  • Increase awareness of information security among coworkers and demonstrate how to improve vulnerable code.
  • Understand customer and consumer value and write user stories accordingly to deliver value faster.
  • Shape team vision and contribute to the team roadmap towards achieving it.
  • Additions for service-delivering teams
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 9 to 13 years of experience in Software development.
  • Strong programming experience and background in Enterprise Python.
  • Demonstrable experience designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on development skills along with architecture/design experience.
  • Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and infrastructure automation.
  • Good Understanding of secure architectures, secure configuration, identity management.
