Tata Electronics is a pioneering venture of the Tata Group, specializing in precision components manufacturing. Responsibilities:

  • Integrate RF-CMOS and RF-SOI technologies
  • Add features (active devices and passives) to existing technologies and create new ones for improved performance and extended application range
  • Lead Wide Band Gap RF technologies
  • Design and layout test chips for device/technology optimization, reliability assessment, and SPICE model extraction
  • Manage end-to-end projects from initial justification to final qualification and yield ramp, ensuring desired performance, quality/yield, schedule, and cost targets
  • Collaborate with design enablement teams and CAD partners to develop user-friendly PDKs with well-characterized toolboxes
  • Select and interact with universities, research labs, and commercial entities to drive a world-class technology roadmap
  • Build and lead cross-functional teams across diverse geographies
  • Nurture strong customer relationships based on confidence in TEPL technical capabilities
  • Benchmark competitors; own technology roadmaps
  • Present to internal and customer senior executives
  • Travel (a few weeks per quarter)

Qualifications:

  • M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of CMOS, SiGe BICMOS, and RF power devices, and technology integration
  • Deep knowledge of RF technology parameters and figures of merit (RonCoff, 1/f noise, linearity, etc)
  • Proven track record in delivering these technologies into volume manufacturing
  • Deep understanding of how integration features impact technology performance and costs
  • Able to work with designers, modeling teams, and customers to design and characterize basic circuits and circuit elements/devices
  • Has delivered similar technologies previously
  • Track record of publications and patents
  • Understanding of key modules, especially pertaining to RF technologies (Epi, Implant, BEOL, heterogeneous integration)
  • Understanding of RF front-end module trends and existing/emerging RF standards with impact on technology requirements
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and achieve project completion within timeline and cost targets
  • Ability to work across different cultures and geographies
  • Good team player

Compensation Package: The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
