Power Technologies Innovator

Tata Electronics is a leading player in the semiconductor industry, with a focus on manufacturing precision components and building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry.
The company has expertise in producing chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU), and high-performance computing logic. As a Power Technologies Innovator at Tata Electronics, you will play a key role in developing new technologies into high-volume production. Your responsibilities will include integration responsibilities for transfer of 40-110nm BCD and HV (Display Driver) technologies from partner facilities while achieving performance, reliability, yield, schedule, and cost targets.
You will support initial ramp while maintaining yield and quality metrics. Additionally, you will add features (active devices and passives) to existing technologies and create new technologies that will improve performance and extend application range.
Your responsibilities may extend to leading Wide Band Gap Power technologies. You will also design and layout of test chips to aid in device/technology optimization, rel assessment, and SPICE model extraction.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end project management from initial project justification to final qualification and yield ramp. Your objectives will include achieving desired performance, quality/yield, schedule, and cost targets.
In this role, you will build and lead a cross-functional team across diverse geographies. You will build strong customer relationships based on confidence in TEPL technical capabilities. Competitor benchmarking and ownership of technology roadmap are also part of your responsibilities.
As a senior executive, you will present to internal and customer senior executives. Travel requirements include a few weeks per quarter. You must have the ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team of highly motivated professionals.

We seek an M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent. Strong understanding of CMOS and Power device physics, process modules, yield improvement, failure mechanisms, analytical techniques (physical and electrical) is essential.
Understanding of EDMOS/LDMOS device design trade-offs using resurf and superjunction concepts is necessary. Deep knowledge of power technology parameters and figures of merit (Rsp, RonQg, SOA, etc); experience in achieving competitive performance is required.
A proven track record in delivering these technologies into volume manufacturing is essential. Understanding of key modules especially as they pertain to power technologies (eg. Epi, Implant) and understanding of different power device configurations (eg. Isolated vs Non Isolated devices) is necessary.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and achieve project completion within timeline and cost targets is required. Ability to work across different cultures and geographies is also essential.
Good team player and innovation and competitive mindset are preferred. We require a proven track record of successfully developing new technologies into high volume production.
Proven problem-solving skills using design of experiments and analytical tools are necessary. Estimated salary: ₹120 lakhs - ₹180 lakhs per annum.
