Vasantha Advanced Systems Private Limited is a leading Electronics Manufacturing Services provider in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Engineer to drive excellence in procurement and supply chain management.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of electronic component sourcing, BOM analysis, and supplier communication.

You will play a key role in quoting projects, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing Bills of Materials (BOMs) to generate accurate quotes for prototype and bulk production
  • Sourcing active and passive components, PCBs, and electronic parts globally
  • Building and managing vendor relationships; evaluating supplier performance and reliability
  • Negotiating pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure project success
  • Collaborating with engineering, production, and logistics teams to align procurement with project timelines

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sourcing/procurement experience in an EMS company
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, BOM-based quoting, and global sourcing strategies
  • Familiarity with procurement software tools (ERP or equivalent platforms)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
  • Exposure to international sourcing and import/export compliance
  • Knowledge of standards such as RoHS, IPC, and ISO
