Hardware Design Engineer

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware products.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality electronic products that meet customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Embedded Hardware designs, including MCU (8/32-bit) ARM-Cortex Series STM32, ESP32, Nordic, and other manufacturers.

They will also have knowledge in High-speed design and routing, as well as experience in schematic design, BOM Management, PCB layout & signal integrity.

The selected candidate must be able to select cost and feature optimized components based on project requirements and design hardware architecture.

Additionally, they should have experience in Analog, digital (mixed) circuits designs, SMPS design, communication circuits, Discrete circuits.

Design and development of Design documents and calculations will also be a key responsibility.

Good exposure to using CAD tools Preferably KiCad is required.

Working knowledge of Oscilloscope, Multimeter, logic analyzer, Function generator, Electronic load etc. is also necessary.

Experience in IOT applications and Good troubleshooting Knowledge of Safety and compliance certification tests like UL, CE, MID, FCC, etc. are highly desirable.

Knowledge to work with the Power electronics, motors and drive systems and technologies is also required.

The successful candidate will be able to handle work with minimal support.

Responsibilities
  • Design and development of electronic hardware products, including schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection.
  • Schematic component selection
  • Must do the PCB Bring up & Hardware debugging
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electronic hardware with firmware and mechanical components.
  • Develop and maintain design standards, procedures, and specifications for electronic hardware products.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify new technologies and trends in electronics hardware design and recommend improvements to existing products.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
  • Give project updates on client calls actively.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor/master's degree in ECE/EEE
  • Experience in wireless communication technologies such as GSM, Wi-Fi (Dual Band), Zigbee, and Bluetooth.
  • Good troubleshooting Knowledge of Safety and compliance certification tests like UL, CE, MID, FCC, etc.
  • Knowledge to work with the Power system domain and technologies
