Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Category Manager IT Procurement to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing all types of IT hardware, software, and related services.

Your primary focus will be on procuring high-quality products and services while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop strategic plans and negotiate contracts that meet business needs.

This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in engineering (Computer Engg / IT / Electronics) or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate diploma in Materials Management (PGDMM) or MBA in IT Systems preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar role in a large size complex organisation.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
