Job Title: Corporate Counsel

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our Legal Department as a Corporate Counsel. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in driving our compliance programs forward, leveraging your expertise to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced counsel to lead on corporate compliance initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic solutions that align with business objectives.

You will be responsible for monitoring and addressing compliance issues, providing guidance on policies and procedures, and ensuring adherence to data protection and privacy legislations. Your extensive knowledge of applicable regulations, including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility, will be invaluable in this role.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A deep understanding of corporate compliance programs and experience in advising on them;
  • 8-14 years of relevant experience in a legal & compliance role;
  • An LLB/LLM degree along with relevant experience as compliance counsel, preferably in MNCs;
  • Independent project management skills, including interaction with external and internal stakeholders;
  • Ability to manage/support review and audit exercises in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
